Start your day with an active, warming practice designed to stimulate metabolism and circulation. Harness the natural detoxifying energy of spring in a class designed to bring you into balance with nature. The class will include Sun Salutations, fluid vinyasas between standing poses, squats, dynamic forward bends, backbends and select inversions.
This is a mixed level practice and not suitable for complete beginners, some yoga experience is necessary.
Summer is a time for play and relaxation and in the tradition of Yoga, it’s the season of the heart! Join Alex for a balancing yoga practice mixing slow, gentle movements for the joints with active, dynamic flow. There will be a focus on backbending to mobilise the spine and energise the chest area. A healthy heart needs regular stimulation but it is also more vulnerable in the summer, so we will practice with mindfulness. This class is for all levels but some yoga experience is preferred or good basic physical fitness.
Join Alex and gong practitioner Rodger Cuddington for a special 2-hr yoga and sound bath event. Yin yoga is a deeply nourishing practice which focuses on stillness and surrender to create spaciousness and ease in the body-mind. Poses are floor-based and held for 3-5 minutes to encourage deep fascial release. The class will end with a long savasana, with the therapeutic healing and relaxation benefits of sound waves. Pre-booking is essential for this event as space is limited.
A day retreat at a tranquil Ayurvedic spa near Malvern. Lunch along with tea and cake will be provided during the day. Please note this day retreat will be conducted mainly in social silence to allow retreatants the opportunity to drop deeper into practice.
